PremierView4 is a premium quality LCD driver board with best in class image quality, video and motion reproduction and signal flexibility. PremierView4 is also ideal for customisation to suit unusual signals and can be ruggedised for military and aerospace use. It can drive panels from 640x480 through to 1600x1200 and can accept many signal types including PAL, NTSC & SECAM composite video (CVBS), YC (S-Video), component RGBS/YPbPr, VGA analog, DVI digital, and broadcast grade YCbCr SDI serial digitial video. PremierView5 is Calibre’s latest driver board aimed at professional quality video applications such as medical, imaging and broadcast. It is capable of supporting HDTV as well as conventional video and computer graphics signals, including HD-SDI serial digital signals. It features a dedicated analog component video input port for SDTV, EDTV and HDTV signals, unlike many competitor products which only support HDTV signals through their VGA input channel and so tend to produce images with aliasing and poor signal handling characteristics.
