Made in the USA by VTS Medical, the VividImage™ range of displays feature Calibre's PremierView5 and PremierView6 image processing technology together with VTS' clinical systems expertise to produce a patient vicinity safe in-theatre grade HD LCD display with market-leading performance and image clarity.

VividImage displays are high quality precision units which are patient vicinity safe, surpassing the current flat panel medical display solutions available today. Their sleek, splash proof, fully enclosed design make VividImage ideal for many medical applications.  19", 21" and 24" models are available, all built to the same exacting standards.

These extremely versatile medical displays support up to six individual SD and HD video inputs including: Composite PAL/NTSC/SECAM, S-Video (Y/C), Component (RGBS,RGB and YPbPr), HDSDI, SVGA (RGBHV analog) and DVI.  This six input design provides optimum flexibility and adaptability. VividImage is capable of handling most brands and types of surgical imaging equipment and designed to grow with changing technology such as HDSDI and DVI.  Live video or VGA graphics can be displayed from cameras or physiological monitoring devices. 

The new high-definition models also feature true HDTV compatibility with dedicated YPbPr analog inputs for 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080i signals, HDSDI for 480i, 576i, 720p and 1080i and DVI for signals up to 1080p.  Unlike many competitor products which process HD signals via their VGA computer input channel so producing aliasing and other image artifacts, VividImage HD displays have true HD video processing electronics specifically designed for this purpose, producing outstanding image clarity.  This HDTV compatibility is in addition to all the signals supported by the SD models. 

These HD models uses Calibre's PremierView5 technology especially optimized for medical endoscopy and surgical use with exceptionally low image lag, far surpassing that obtained from similar competitor products.

All models feature premium grade LCD panels with high image contrast, saturated colors and exceptional black definituon.  They all have ultra-wide viewing angles of 178° left/right and up/down enable data to be read more easily by all personnel.  A professional grade video decoder gives outstanding camera performance on composite and YC video through the use of a 4-line comb filter and vertical noise reduction algorithm.

High performance scaling algorithms work without compromising image quality or resolution irrespective of the signal resolution implemented. Very flexible wide-ranging picture controls are provided via an on-screen menu. These controls include picture size/position and aspect ratio controls as well as contrast, brightness, and colour/hue for video and per input R,G,B gain and cut-off calibration.

VividImage displays use image processing electronics especially designed and able to be calibrated for exceptional colour accuracy and faithful grey-scale reproduction.  Image scaling is exceptionally clean and when working with video images uses a special ultra-low-lag video frame-rate tracking algorithm for minimal image lag together with no frame tear on moving objects.

VividImage displays are housed in a lightweight alloy case, far stonger than plastic cased alternatives and safer than some competitor products due to their vent-free design.  All models incorporate a rear 100mm & 75mm compatible VESA mount.  Adapters for common arm types are also available as is a desk-stand for use outside the operating theatre.
