PremierView5 is the next step up from Calibre’s very well established PremierView4, widely recognised as the market leader for specialist and high-performance display requirements in applications such as medical, broadcast, military, aerospace and specialist industrial displays.
PremierView5 provides best in class flexibility and image performance for demanding display applications. It supports a wide range of standard definition and high definition video formats as well as computer graphics signals. Models are available with support for HDTV in HDSDI digital format as well as YPbPr analog format.
PremierView5 provides excellent image processing, accurate colour space conversion and clean image scaling for optimal picture quality. It features motion adaptive de-interlace for standard definition video signals to minimize interlace flicker while maximizing motion performance. PremierView5 uses real-time field-locked image processing for best motion performance or frame rate conversion for compatibility with fixed frequency panels and aspect ratio conversion for widescreen LCD panels.
Through the standard VGA connector, composite sync and sync on green from high resolution sources such as workstations are also supported. A DVI digital graphics input is available as an optional.
A professional grade video decoder is used which gives outstanding composite and YC video performance through the use of a 4-line adaptive comb filter and vertical noise reduction algorithm. This also provides a selectable RGB/YUV standard-definition component video input and an automatically enabled monochrome mode for use with hi-res monochrome and thermal imaging cameras. Additionally, the component video input optionally supports EDTV & HDTV YPbPr modes.
HD-SDI YCbCr serial digital video is a further option, compatible with 484i, 576i, 720p, 1035i, 1080sfp, 1080i up to 60Hz field rate and also 1080p modes up to 30Hz field rate.
