New units have vastly improved and better performance in low-latency mode for in-camera use.  

The new model includes an additional image processing board which greatly reduces the level screen flicker seen when displaying 480i, 576i and 1080i signals in low-latency mode.  The user can control the level of filtering so as to bias performance towards better motion reproduction, or a very high level of flicker reduction.
